Harris Martinson's work in furniture is an extension of his painting practice.

 

What began as designing and building furniture for his studio out of necessity led him to construct his entire living and working space with hand-built wooden objects.

​

Built from solid hardwoods, his furniture pieces are sculptural objects that function to organize a room and orient the body within it so that we may dwell more deeply.

 

All pieces are designed and built in NYC.
